Welcome to the Centrist Coalition, America's fastest-growing non-partisan group supporting centrist leadership and policies.
We are a diverse group of Americans from different parties and widely varying personal backgrounds. What we share is the conviction that strong ideas are more important than rigid partisanship, and that honest, informed debate should replace the anger and bitterness we see more and more these days whenever issues are discussed in the public square.
We're troubled by the growing disconnect between the views of average folks and the choices and actions of our elected leaders. We believe in a revival led by middle America — bringing common sense and everyday values back to the heart of our democracy.
Lately, we've been focusing our attention on basic reforms critical to preserving our democracy. We're working with reform movements in 15 states, as well as a national reform, that would take away the power politicians currently possess to draw their own election districts. We believe the people should choose their leaders, not the other way around, and we see this fundamental principle of democracy slipping away.
Join us. We need your help to take back American government on behalf of average Americans.
