June 13, 2008RIP: Tim RussertBummer. Somehow the tragedy seems magnified to me because he is going to miss seeing how this election story turns out. Just last night I heard him say that "we are in for a wild and exciting ride" between now and November. I'm sorry you are going to miss it, Tim. I was shocked to hear the news today and sadly broke it to a friend/colleague of mine who's now in the corporate video business. She had a great story of how Tim, her son, and others would go on an A-Z pub crawl (via chartered bus of course) in DC. Start at a pub who's name starts with A and continue through the entire alphabet. A very authentic guy who brought a level of intelligence and honsty rarely seen these days in the era of corporate media news. We're all going to miss him.
