We got back from inlaws and reunions yesterday. It was quite a change in atmosphere, going from two weeks of hotel living to 'burb life: going out on the wet driveway in the morning to get the paper (Kelso! yay!) and finding out that the tall things that'd looked like sunflowers WERE sunflowers.

The kid's having a bad transition - we're getting cried at alot today.

My mother-in-law lives not too far from the FDR residence and Presidential library, so we visited that - my favorites were the two ship models, his ship-related paintings, and his disability-modded car, which I'd read about alot.

Texas continued to stay in for us- there was an Armadillo Grill not too far from where we were staying.
