Excuses For Putin's Extra Terms?

What excuse do you think Putin will use to get the extra terms as President that the Russian Constitution currently denies him?

Of course, he's denied tbat he'll take them, but there's plenty of precedent for that, going back at least to Julius Caesar refusing kingship twice before accepting it the third time.

There is the possibility that he'll instead rule over more turf, though I've gotta wonder how happy a dictator would be running an international organization; something of a stepdown, unless it's more like an empire, which somehow seems unlikely, as empires rarely expand wihout force.

My guess is that he'll promise to save Russia from the dangerous, nasty Estonian threat (Estonia pop 1.3M, Russia pop 141.4M).
