January 19, 2007Good Start to SurgeSo far the surge and al'Maliki's role are looking good. Posted by Jon Kay at January 19, 2007 01:19 AMComments
Yep, and did you notice the morning news? Israel gives Abbas 100 million and freezes settlement plans. North Korea says talks with the US are going well. Even Chirac honors French who helped rescue Jews during WW2. Interesting Friday, but something tells me Democrats will spend the weekend denouncing Bush and takng little note of Maliki's role in the Shia round up. I hope Hagel eats his hat. Posted by: Matrue at January 19, 2007 07:42 AMOh, and I forgot Somalia Warlords handing over weapons and a plan for the African Union supplying security forces. Perhaps the Left might want to bitch about Chinese missile test, Chavez giving himself the power of decree, Jordan's desire for nuclear energy or Russia's sale of weapons to Iran.
Hmmm! That cold front must have reached the deepest nether regions then! ;-) Posted by: c3 at January 19, 2007 03:59 PMWell, I don't think Hell is freezing overe anytime soon. It is more than odd we ignore good news and bad news and get fed the political soup of the day. No wonder so many Americans are clueless. Posted by: Matrue at January 19, 2007 04:54 PM |
