Warner, the former governor of Virginia, has decided not to run for president in 2008, Democratic officials said Thursday.I suspect I am not alone among the folks around here in being disappointed in this development. Definitely a surprise, and disappointing. The Republicans will have a hard time keeping the White House, and whoever gets the GOP nod will have an uphill climb. I'd hate for someone like Kerry to get the Democratic nod, given that situation. Speaking of failed political campaigns, for those who missed it, Kinky Friedman imploded in the debate last weekend and his campaign is on the rocks. Would have posted earlier, but ...
