That's all fine and dandy. My probem with it is that it still ignores the many voting/demographic blocs that simply do not and will not agree with what this guy wants. Same on the Dem side. This probem is simply more pronounced on the Dem side, IMO, because there are so may activist groups so loyal to parts of the platform at the expense others. All I see this site doing is pushing toward the center like the DLC/New Dems do. All it gets them is anger from the strident base. I simply don't see anything happening til mods on both ends drop party label for a moment and find a broader like-minded coalition that will very likely involve a melding of groups from both parties. The legal structure for campaign finance and party voting is such that the only new "parties" you see are cults of personality like Ross Perot. It's far more realistic to demand your party, whichever side you're on, be more inclusive of those with differing views.
