At this time next week, I will be playing golf in Texarkana, TX. We will play 108 holes in 4 days. After 3 months of winter, I'm more than ready.

Have fun.

You'll have to tell us where the difference between the two Texarkanas.

We're hosting our annual Academy Awards party at our house. I wasn't that thrilled about the 2004 movies, however. I am looking forward to seeing Wild Parrots of Telegraph Hill. I read the book this was based on, and it was neat.

Spring Training is here. Life begins again! And, now that DC has a team I will be living in a major league city for the first time in my life.

Looking forward to a weekend of reading and relaxation here. Temperature is dropping (in the 50's, which is cold for Florida) and rain is forecast for the entire weekend. With my son out of town for the weekend it should be rather quiet. Is it too early to start the college football countdown yet?

Just tried an East Austin BBQ place last night, Sam's. The meat and the prices were excellent. The sides weren't so great, but it was still a pretty good dinner. Though the Profesora wasn't so happy with with the mutton part of her combo plate.

We have alot of dancing planned this weekend. Maybe too much.

After all of the rain, everything is green, GREEN in AZ. It's amazing what will grow in the desert when you just add a little water. Alas, in a few months it will all be brown again. The only thing that keeps growing despite any weather are the subdivisions.

Oh yeah, and the spring desert flowers will be GREAT this year!!
