More Centrists

I'm seeing a growing number of centrist blogs. Here are two more:

Centrist America

Staunch Moderate

found via beastofsound, which I gather is itself on the moderate left.

Very interesting. I'll add them to our centrist blogroll.

Looks like Centrist America is also a collaborative weblog, with several authors.

One thing I've been wondering is at what point all the centrist bloggers and commenters out there would really start visiting one another and really creating a conversation between us.

With these two added, we now have 21 centrist weblogs on our blogroll. At some point, we should get more of a sense of community and more give-and-take.

Thank you for the pointer -- we included Centerfield on our blogroll from day one and appreciate the commentary on this site.

As to William's comment, one of our goals is certainly to further the "conversation between us" centrists. Your input and suggestions on how to proceed would be most welcome.

Thanks again!

Yep, I noticed you guys had listed us, and I sense y'all are trying to do much the same thing we are -- to offer lots of centrist voices and present a discussion between centrists rather than just one opinion.

One thing we could probably do here is post more comments on stuff y'all are saying over there. Since both of our sites have multiple authors, we might succeed in getting more conversation going on between us.

So far as the other centrist blogs go, I tend to suspect many or maybe even most are currently unaware of most of the others. We could try to find some way of introducing ourselves to one another -- perhaps through some kind of centrist blog burst, or something along those lines.

We could also try to get folks to treat the centrist blogroll as some kind of "common property", rather than just something we do here at Centerfield. Get more of us to participate in maintaining it and encourage folks to use it as a convenient tool for wandering through the centrist side of the blogosphere.
